Once more because it can't hurt to ask, You were going to look into a Shortcut Key for "Lock Player Movement" before 1.3 went Final.
I hope this is still planned.

I haven't looked at the current list of shortcuts to see what key combinations might be available and somewhat mnemonic.

Perhaps you'd like to check out the list and suggest one? If/when I get time, I'll do it myself... (There's a list linked to from the main page of the wiki.)

The change itself is just adding a line to the English translation file.

Meta-L looks free. But I'm not near MT right now, so I cannot confirm.

Here you go. I did a search and pulled out all of the defined accelerators from the translation file. Some accelerators may not be shown here, although I've been working to remedy that.

Meta-L is used for "showLightRadius".
Meta-M is "showMapSelector", whatever that is. ;)

It looks like Meta-P isn't used for anything, but that's not terribly mnemonic. :|

The one marked "defaultTool.stateAction.AFK.accel" I'd never heard of before. I wonder if it works. It sort of relies on having a state called "AFK" though, I assume.

I just got a strange error. I had MT 1.3.b81 open with an opened dialog window. Both were unfocused at the time of the error (I was messing with windows media player), when I got this error:

... last part repeats and each message gets longer.
I'll see if I can duplicate. Oh, this happened right about when my autosave kicks in.

edit: I can't seem to duplicate, so I think it was just a fluke. I was upgrading windows media player at the time or error.

edit: Something weird of note. I had an icon on my desktop for the webstart (I don't usually use), but it disappeared after restart of my computer. I don't see how this would be related though.

I'll see if I can duplicate. Oh, this happened right about when my autosave kicks in.

edit: I can't seem to duplicate, so I think it was just a fluke. I was upgrading windows media player at the time or error.

edit: Something weird of note. I had an icon on my desktop for the webstart (I don't usually use), but it disappeared after restart of my computer. I don't see how this would be related though.
Looks like a purely java related error to me, theres no maptool calls in the trace...

I have a mathlib token you can add to your campaign. But it would have been nice if those were added as built in functions.

makes it look like the Windows implementation of Java had a problem retrieving the off-screen buffer used to repaint some portion of the window. If your Java is up to date, then this should be filed as a bug report with Oracle/Sun.

I'm in the process of cross-referencing all keys from the translation file with all source code that makes references to the translation file. They should all match up, but I'm finding some keys that are never referenced and some references to keys that don't exist.

I'm not going to remove the former but I'll move them to a separate section of the file and mark them as "unused?" (too late in 1.3 to risk removing them!). For the latter I'm figuring the code must never be used or we'd have heard about it here; however I may change the message written to log.txt so that it instead pops up a warning message the first time it happens that directs people to email the log file to me. :)

This may be considered a bug.

When I open a frame (frame1) and that frame has a form where when I submit the form the form opens a new frame (frame2). I then dock that frame to the first frame where they now are tabbed.

If I have frame2 visible and I run a macro that redraws frame1, frame1 now becomes visible which is what I expect (I clicked a macroLink). But if I have frame1 visible and I run a macro from frame1 (form submit) that redraws frame2, the frame is redrawn, but is not visible (doesn't gain focus). I have to click the tab to see the new changes.

If I undock frame2 and move to another frame (lets say select frame) and dock it so it is tabbed, then I run the form submit on frame1. frame2 if not visible will gain focus and be redrawn.

Sooo... it seems to me that if a frame has a form submit and has an attached frame (tabbed), when redrawing the attached frame that it will not gain focus and the focus remains on the form submit frame.

I'm guessing because the form frame already has focus, that is doesn't force focus on the second tab when it's redrawn when using a form submit. frame2 uses a macroLink call to redraw frame1 which is does gain focus. That's basically the difference. So, the form submit link is not doing the same type of window focusing as a clicked macroLink does.

edit: I don't know how easy this will be to fix, but it may be easier to just add a new function called frameFocus(frame). I could just add that when the frame is redrawn to make sure it gains focus.

Actually, there is another bug on the list that is about onToken events where if the frame is not visible (on a tab, but not visible), the frame is not updated and the event does not fire. This could be a 2fer fix because they seem somewhat related (sort of). Okay, maybe not.

I can understand not showing the frame when using auto-hide, but a frame with an event handler, or a frame that is redrawn shouldn't be hiding when tabbed (not auto-hide). Auto-hide makes more sense to not update, or at least not give it focus when updated.
