MapTool 1.2 Development Release Build 25

Was hex facing fixed in this build? (I'm running b25)
For instance:
1) Create a new hex map (with flat sides at the top and bottom)
2) I drop the Cylon Raider (thanks to jector's album for this one) into a hexmap. It's defaulted to facing the left (vertex)
3) I change the facing it's always facing vertex.
compare to:
1) Create a new hex map (with vertex/pointy side at the top and bottom)
2) Cylon Raider (thanks to jector's album for this one) into a hexmap. It's defaulted to facing the left (flat side)
3) I attempt to change the facing, it now faces vertexes.
Here's an image. Notice how the type of hex is different in both, but the first one on the left is the initial facing. It always defaults to the vertex. Is this supposed to be the case? I've never used hex maps a whole lot, so forgive me if my ignorance about how hexes work is preventing me from seeing what's going on.
