MapTool 1.2 Development Release Build 28

Post by trevor »

The "we're so close it hurts" release

Build 28 (5/6/2007)
* Change code path to avoid launch exception on some machines
* Token Tree: show (GM Name) after token name

This build specifically addresses an issue some users are having with launching (along with a simple feature that was too easy to not implement)

Please Please Please kick the tires and let me know how it goes, I will make a build every day if I have to in order to work out these final kinks. I'm ready and waiting to get this out the door so I can start working on the Good Stuff again !

Also please check the default images and let me know if they work for you.

This may be totally unrelated, but the past couple games I've noticed an increase in the amount of players dropping offline in mid-game. A month ago, we'd get maybe one drop per session. The past couple weeks, we've been getting 4 or more drops per game.

Although I haven't noticed any other issues with my internet connection, it may be totally unrelated to MT. Just thought I'd mention it and see what you thought.

Hmm, that doesn't look right. The line of code that it's breaking on:

at net.rptools.lib.swing.ColorPicker.<init>(ColorPicker.java:85)

doesn't exist anymore, I removed it. Line 85 is a blank line. Are you sure it's the latest stuff ?

Is this happening for others of you that were seeing this ? Perhaps the build missed the updated file or something ?

I mentioned this a few times in the past Trevor but I havent been able to do a Restore Default Images after I upgraded to Java 6.

I sent you e-mails stating specifics a while back. From what I remember, they restore fine with the ZIP version of Maptool in Java 6 but not webstart. *shrug* You would have to look at the e-mails for complete test data.

This is (still) what I get:

OK, I know what's going on now, it occurred to me that the file I changed is in the rplib jar file, not the maptool jar file.

oops.

I'll do another build here in a few minutes
