OK, here it is, the expected Release Version of MT 1.2 !

Build 32 (5/25/2007)
* Fix GM view of exposed area when using vision, but all vision is disabled
* Remove a Java 6 line of code that slipped in

I am going to branch the code, and let the team get the release notes and announcements ready, but I'm moving on to 1.3 !

Rock on.

Care to comment on what you're looking to tackle first?

Some high level, high priority items:

- New file format
- New networking
- Projector mode

these is the very, very short list

May want to update the front of the websites "Release" section with the new data.

Me, I am hankering on the "Export" map feature so I can just load different maps that I have already MTed and not have them always attached to my campaign... But Projector mod is also high on my list.

Anyway, I have to go back top fighting with RSS feeds and my new BB.

Regards

by new networking do you mean moving chat and rolling to server side? Or something at the base level of networking like someway to prevent all these "my firewall doesn't port forward? Or something else entirely.

Replacing the existing networking framework with a different one. This will help facilitate the other items you mention, plus we expect the random networking drops to disappear, and if they don't an auto connect feature is really easy to drop in.

Me too :o) I've got a file full of Pubs, houses, and stuff (well, almost - there's still a bit of work to do on most of them, but it's getting there :o)

As I think about it, this is actually pretty easy to do. The most time consuming part is creating the UI for the import. How I envision it working is to do File->Import Campaign which will bring up the load campaign dialog, select a campaign, which will bring up a dialog with a list of the maps in the campaign with a checkbox next to each one. Eventually I'd like a little mini map of each map listed, but to begin with I can just list the name with a check box. Select the maps you want and click OK.
