MapTool 1.3 Development Build 4

Post by trevor »

This is an emergency build to fix build 3, which had an old library.

For the actual release notes, review the build 3 notes:

Note: The elevation property not taking issue is because you have to leave the field by either using an arrow key, or hitting ENTER before clicking "OK", otherwise the property won't get committed. This is a known bug

Yep, already tried it, worked fine for me. Though I will say I like the concave statsheet better.

I like the concave too but it needs to be slightly less concave so it actually mimics the contour properly. (The middle should not be further away from the token edge than the top)

Wow, that's totally cool. Very very good for mini-wargaming, especially since we're looking at maybe 4-6 stats that are needed frequently!

Yeah most definately an excellent change to the mouse over...I know for the HeroHex game i'm designing I can fit evey game stat on the pop-up by simply short handing the stats as Str, Int, Etc...

Now you just need to finish the .token fromat lol...no rush though *wink wink nudge nudge*

Okay, now it works. All looks pretty and lovely... as long as the token in question is visible to players. However, if the token is not visible to players it is currently unusable as the text is white. Was this intended behaviour?

Examples:

This is the view for an NPC token that is not visible to players.

Even worse is a PC token that is not visible to players (I know, this would be a very strange set of circumstances, but it might come up):

Otherwise, looks good.

Yeah we discovered that last night during our demo, trevor said it had to do something with the last color used in the draw command or some such coding mumbojumbo. Once you apply vision, it seems to appear that way all the time as well.

I have to say, after last night's in-game demo it works great. I'm really eager to use this feature more frequently!

Well I downloaded it last night, It was amazing. Beyond that I really dont know what to add. The popups were not destractiong at all. (by the way this fixes my flying issue). I cant wait until its stable enought to build converters from 1.2 to 1.3 for campaigns. You are moving in all the right directions. I'll will play with maptool more this weekend and if I run into anything I'll let you know.

Thanks Again
ZK

Edit: Due to Mikey's Gutter-mind I changed my wording!
