Dreaming of a 1.3 release
Back when I was a manager, we used to look for 'Code Monkeys'
These guys where pale. The only UV that reached their skin was whatever the CRT put out. They lived off of Twinkies and Coke. Coke could be substitutied for Pepsi or Dr. Pepper depending on the region of the country they were from.
Their office was always dark except for the CRT and they were always there.
Their large, gibbon-like eyes would stare are you angrily if you dared interrupt there work.
While the era of the code monkey is somewhat over, what with government regulations and all, I wonder if Trevor, Jay and Giliath sometimes still crave Twinkies.

The other thing I noticed about the Code Monkey was the concept of a Zero Level Interrupt. A zero level interrupt is a request that must be serviced. All other interrupts could safely wait until
a) it went away
b) the boss stood at the door so the Code Monkey had to work on the interrupt to make the boss go away
When you saw a Code Monkey running down the hall towards the bathroom, you realized his bladder had reached the zero level interrupt stage. Note, before the zero level interrupt, there were other, lower priority interrupts sent by the bladder. You'd see a coder sitting on one knee on his chair to give his bladder a bit more room so he could type/debug for just a bit longer.
Few things other than potty breaks reached the zero level interrupt stage.
