A toggle on the token with the light visible to players may fix it, but I agree with the Low light, Dark vision comment

I actually did this intentionally. The idea was that you could have a very visible anchor point to work with on the light, like a picture of a light bulb, but not have it show up in the player's view. To make the light go away you would disable the light source (which hasn't been integrated into the UI yet)

I'm open to discussing whether this was the right call or not.

We need to keep consistent. Right now, we all know that making a token or stamp Not-Visible-To-Players, that means it simply isn't there anymore - almost like we took it off the battlemat. Light should not change that behavior. Not-Visible-To-Players is a GM's ace in the hole - you have no idea how a GM needs that instant "go away" manuever up his sleeve because he screwed up during game or something.

If a GM wants to place a light on the map but not make the 'object' visible, then we do it the same way I currently add notes to pre-generated maps - transparent stamps. Or we implement a formal way of being able to place notes and light without the need for a stamp.

I like Dorpond's suggestion. I use the option to make tokens not visible often in my games and it would be anoying to have to click each token twice now. I think it's less often you'll find someone wanting to setup a light source with no visible center. It's more likely one would find a pic of a torch, lamp etc and attach light to it.

I also agree with Dorpond. In the case you described, with the non-visible source, I would use a transparent stamp. The case of an invisible person holding a torch sort of confuses things, but that seems like a fairly rare occurence.

the invisible person would have to be pretty stupid

Bug: On a map without FoW turned on if you turn on a Light Source, all tokens disappear from Player view whether in range of light source or not.

Also not getting any light area outlines.

Fair enough, I'll make the update we can give it a go.

My recommendation would be to do the text in a different text editor than Word, or copy it all to Notepad then copy/paste from there.
I have tried this.

If I post a little bit, it works fine.

It I post larger chunks of text, it doesn't work it says:

Our hosting company, for whatever reason, seems to corrupt the zips for some users, it's quite perplexing. Try getting the zip version and see if you get the same thing.

That is indeed an odd problem then and unrelated to the editor I would believe.
You're just jealous 'cause the voices only talk to me.

Hi!

It corrupts the Zip archive file as well. Weird. Never happened to me before.

Any help appreciated.
