I will post a server session here to find out. If you have a moment, clear your cache and lets give it a try in 5 minutes.

On a side note, when you post your server at rptools.net, you don't have to specify the port.

Try it now - sorry about the wait. DHCP pushed a different IP that I had to open in the firewall. All good now.

Connected with an empty image cache, and all the images transferred without problem

Thanks for the quick test! Today is going to be bust for me but maybe later I will do the full test of that and see if other bugs crop up.

You mentioned an arrow not working - what did you mean?

I was trying to use the pointer (the spacebar) but no pointer ever showed up. I'll take a look at that later today.

I connected, loaded fine. I saw your pointer Trevor, and my own seemed to do exactly what it should. I don't know why you couldn't see your own, but that's just odder I suppose.

This didn't fix the problem I experienced with loading/transferring a campaign with a lot of tokens.

The campaign loads just fine on the server. Memory usage is minimal.

As soon as a client (with a clear image cache) connects the memory usage on the server goes through the roof and it quickly runs out of memory. It never recovers after that.

How does one clear the image cache?

Also, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to revert to a previous version. I've downloaded the .zip archive and dumped the .jar files into a folder, but...

A) On both my machines the .jar extension seems to be associated with Wordpad which I can change... but to what should I be associating .jar?

B) With any attempt to launch the maptool-1.1.bxx.jar, all I get is a Java Virtual Machine Launcher error, "Could not find the main class. Program will exit." I keep picturing the program as some wet-behind-the-ears college freshman looking frantically back and forth between is campus map and room numbers, asking everyone he sees, "Where is the main class? Where is the main class?!" It is unfortunate that he chooses to exit when I'm sure a little perseverance would see him through his freshman year, but such is life.

If I extract all the files from all the .jar files in the .zip, it creates a bunch of folders, none of which have an executable... so I'm just really confused here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Shannon
