FUMcon: A call to arms!
FUMcon (formerly iCon) is nearing !
http://www.fouruglymonsters.com/community/fumcon
For those that don't know what it is, it's an online convention to bring together VT vendors and VT consumers, particularly those that don't know what a VT is and want to know more.
I want to personally invite you all to participate in it at whatever level you can.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Go to one or more activities
- Invite others to participate in any/all rpg related forums you are a member of
- Host an activity (one-shot, demo, or other)
Of particularly interest at this time is to get MT represented. I'm a horrible candidate to give a demo since I'm not really a consumer of MT (ironic, eh?) and don't know the best way to present the features.
So I'm calling on you, the MT community, to step up and Show the MT Goodness at FUMcon.
Feel free to post here if you have any questions, or would like to commit to hosting an event (so we can coordinate)
Thanks all !

You may want to post a link here so that people know where to go.
Also, now that you are an Industry Pro on the CG, don't forget that you can post this in the News forum over there.

People are free to use my crypt tileset for these demos as well. I don't know that I'll have time to participate.

Maybe I can run an abbreviated Space Nazis game.

Shucks, I would go if I weren't going to be in NJ that week :c
I was kinda confused about it, though. Is it completely online? Or is it like an anime convention where you go somewhere and do your thing?
Probably not, now that I think about it. The VT community is pretty small..

As I suspected. I really gotta think better. I would love to participate, but I'm taking my girlfriend on a mini-vacation for her birthday.RPTroll wrote:Its all online.

Yeah, ditching your girlfriend for a gaming event is a sure fire way to be able to spend A LOT more time gaming.

Haha, agreed. I'd hate to turn into the comic shop guy from the Simpsons. C:RPTroll wrote:Yeah, ditching your girlfriend for a gaming event is a sure fire way to be able to spend A LOT more time gaming.
