Go Gots maps

Post by Bhoritz »

I have found some maps (battlemaps parchment style) onDeviantart.

They are quite nice, but what is really interesting is that the author also provides all the elements you need to make your own.
And that's not all, he also gives the autorisation to use the maps you make from its elements in any work you want to post or publish as long as it is not a commercial product.

GoGots even has a Youtube channel with explanations on how to use his ressources (in french, but it is nor really needed to understand what he does, it is just copy/pasting in Photoshop or GIMP).

Here is a small exemple to see the style of his maps/ressources:

(this one is parchment style, because that's how I like them, but there are color ones).

Broken what down? The artist has already done that for a number of asset packs.

Oh duh. I didn't realize the download was a zip. Anyhow this is super cool. I don't like mixing aesthetics in a single map so it is great that there is so much to work with here.
