Just got a new light system for daz today
Uberlight
it only costs about $6.50
and gives you properly controllable lights . . .
You can now control the distance the light throws (no more hitting the backdrop, and the distance it fades over
You have shutters for the sides of the light to trim it off items you don't want to hit and you can change the colours of the shadows.
This is a seriously cool piece of kit if you use rendering packages, but unfortunately it only works in Daz Studio (Not Poser).
I think poser has something similar built in, but I have never really used it so I am not sure.
My Day job is working in theatre, and my Major is in Lighting Design, this is a great piece of kit if you use lights much.

I remembered you use poser half way through the post, hence the poser based comment.
