Hi all,

If any of you are familiar with the Birthright setting (For AD&D 2nd edition) then chances are you never got to play this gem. Well I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get a game back after it came out in the 90s.

There's an official online website for it http://www.birthright.net but the community activity has dwindled over the years, so I dug up some people from some old threads, and I'm trying to cobble together a group to play this. I tentatively put myself forward as GM, but only if we don't find someone else better.

To those of you who haven't played Birthright or know what it is, it's about playing the ruler of a Kingdom, when you're a descendant of the old gods, who's power runs through your veins. It's like Game of Thrones crossed with Highlander, using the AD&D 2nd edition ruleset (though conversions are on the official website for 2.5, 3 and 4. There was even a reasonable adaptation to PC for this game (which you can find here as abandonware. (Just ignore the weak adventuring side of the game, and concentrate on the battles and kingdom ruling).

If any of you are interested, please let me know, either via pm or replying to this post.

Thankyou for reading!

Are you still looking for players? I'd be very interested, as I've been curious about Birthright or running a Birthright-like game for a long time.

I'm most interested in 5e, but I'd be willing to give earlier editions a try if somebody can provide me with the materials/info.

I am also interested. I vaguely remember 2nd edition. I am most familiar with 3.5

I still have the boxed set somewhere.

I liked the adventuring part.
