Scales of War: Rescue at Rivenroar

Well, I ran my first session today.
I had some macro troubles that I haven't quite diagnosed, and I forgot to change a few player tokens from NPC to PC, so the vision wasn't right for the first encounter.

Separate from MapTool, I had a real hard time setting up the first skill challenge in the module. It seemed too "fake" a structure, but that may have just been my implementation.

I'm running two instances of MapTool on my notebook, one as GM, and one as a player sent to my TV. I also have a player coming in over the internet. Connectivity was great. The maps uploaded in a flash.

I didn't think much of it before, but being able to see tokens move on my screen as my distance player moves on his is such a great feature!

Everybody had a great time. This was my first time as GM, and two players' first times playing a PnP RPG. Looks like we'll be playing again Wednesday night!
