Thanks Tyren, for pioneering this movement!

You have me so fired up that I too have been making pens and building projector mockups.

You mentioned wax paper and then some film for the top - in my mockup, I was very surprised how well a thin white bed sheet worked too. I was able to read stuff without problem. I have not tested any other materials yet so I will definately be visiting the crafts store (if I am lucky enough to have a similar setup).

There is film media for plotters that might work well. I had a partial roll of some and it was partially translucent plastic that was glossy on one side and rough (like paper) on the other side.

I work for a contractor so I am sure I can snag some vellum or film from the cad department!
