Help to open CharacterTool

Hello guys,
I can not open the charactertools, down the ZIP file containing the files:
chartool - 1.0.b15.jar
Launch Chartool.sh
Launch Chartool.bat
README
Run the file. Jar with Java 6 (winxp) and not acontecede nothing.
Can anyone help?

Sounds like your install did not add java to your machines path.
To verify, open a command prompt:
Start->Run
Type "cmd" WITHOUT the quotes.
Type "java -version". Again..WITHOUT the quotes
Most likely, you will see an error saying unrecognized command or something similar... Google how to add programs to the windows path OR uninstall, REBOOT, then reinstall and repeat the above tests. For some reason the windows installer sucks about half the time.
