Has this been suggested before?

I would like the ability as a player to create notes, and save them, and share them with other users. These notes would be pictures or text. I would recommend a window that defaulted to a text layer, but you could click a button at the bottom and draw on a layer above it, or replace the back ground from the stock text to a map or picture.

They haven't been suggested as a separate tool, but this functionality will be built into MapTool proper during the next development cycle
