security overide tool

How hard would it be to make a little app that knocks out all firewalls and everything that could possibly get in the way while it is running? trying to kill the poll. It didn't work. It will die of natural causes in 1 day, I hope. Just ignore it.

Well, if it were easy, firewalls wouldn't be very valuable :)

We did this by making all of our communications work over HTTP. Everybody opens a hole in the firewall for the web server. That wont work for maptool, too much back and forth interaction between client and server (i.e. dragging tokens). I also seriously doubt that making everybody run a web server is a good idea :)
