A rather random tool suggestion
This is a suggestion for a tool that would help for room descriptions and for maps of a dungeon found in the dungeon. The tool would work as a maptool extension, with a GM option to set up a new entry consisting of a text password and a result of text and images, and a player or GM option to type in a password set beforehand by the GM, and pop up the entry, allowing players to view images that the GM would normally just hand to them or view room descriptions without clogging the chat, and allowing the GM to view campaign notes or such without worry of players reading them.
This is part of the suggestion, but not all of it. A big part of it is the password-restricted access, which would allow the versatility of being a place to store your player-owned map of the dungeon, scans of frequently used tables, character sheets, campaign notes, publicly available information that clutters up the game because only a few want it, or answers to clever puzzles. So yes, it is a campaign data collection tool, but it is also much more.
