Scroll Position in a Frame

Post by Tanthos »

Script theory time, guys.

Would there be a way to make a section of text that can be expanded and collapsed (a very simple version of this without losing your scroll position on the frame, assuming the content of the frame is longer than the height?

That's javascript and focus. When using expanding menus you generally set the focus at the top of the expanded part. In most cased the part expanded is already on the screen so no position change is needed. MT does not use javascript though *sad face*.

But using a frame, you can create a submit button and the frame can be redrawn with the expanded material, but you can't set the scroll position.

Bleh, in re-reading my post I realized that I messed up my communication. My focus was on the scroll position. But hey, you answered that question too. :)

Guess I'll just have to learn to design with that in mind.
