I'm on version 1.4.1.8

The last time i used Maptool I was on 1.3 and, correct me if I'm wrong, i remember i could see token facing arrows on tokens with Circular and Square shapes.
Right now i can only see facing arrows if the token have the "Figure" shape, which is not optimal because on hexes tokens overlap each others, or if I check the "Force Token Facing Arrow" inside the Preferecens, which is bothersome since i start to see facing arrows on Backgrounds and Objects.

There's any way to show facing arrow on tokens with Circular shape whitout enabling the force option?

(tested on different machines and OS: Windows 10, Windows 7, OSX, Linux Mint, Debian)

I couldn't find it on the forum if this issue was already discussed.

Facing arrows should be on all except top down tokens. I'm using 1.4.1.7 though. I just tested it and works fine for my version. One thing to note is facing doesn't show arrows on anything by the token layer.

Now I've also tested version

• 1.4.0.5
• 1.4.1.7

and in both cases facing arrows work correctly on Square and Circular shapes.
So I assume that it's an issue with version 1.4.1.8, it's a bug?

I traced it to a commit by user uthin, a "fix" that IMO isn't needed. FYI: You get the arrows back by changing the Force Facing Arrows option in App Preferences...

So, to clarify- is there no way in this version to show arrows on square tokens without showing them on all top down tokens (using the force facing check and having a map full of giant yellow arrows for all the trees etc)? If this is the case then I add my voice to those asking to return to the old way.
