 Post subject: getShape()
PostPosted: Wed Jun 24, 2009 4:00 am
So I'm doing up some stuff for a new game, and one thing I've decided that humans are round tokens, and inhumans will use squares. Fine and dandy, nice little visual cue.

Except that the game has is shapeshifters. So a shifter in human form has a round token, but when they shift, they become square. PLAYER shifters, who will go back and forth.

Not a big deal... except that I was considering using dorponds "bloodied %" overlay states.

Which come in, wait for it... round and square version.

So I assumed there was a getShape() function to tell me if the token was round or square... and there isn't.

setShape() may have uses with this as well.

In the meantime, I'll just have to use a property to track this.
