Two requests to improve the built-in MapTool chat: - default bgcolor
A white background can get quite painful to stare at, after some time. Being able to set the default background color would help me greatly.
- line height
By default, there is a very large space between each individual string in the chat window. An option to easily tweak line-height (or padding/margin) for all chat should be implemented.

Eventually there will be a single, global CSS page "to rule them all". At that point you'll be able to set application-wide defaults for all of the various components.

Line height in the chat window is really a problem... :/ ... Really hope a simple "Oh, you want it [insert prefered spacing here] spaced? OK!" setting would definitely be a priority of UI settings... imo anyway.
Can't even figgure out if this CAN be fixed through tinylaf... ugh.
