VBL and Grid Adjustment trick(?)

Post by heyes »

Maybe everyone else already figured this out...

I wanted to draw a vbl around a ragged edge of a cave, but I ran into the old problem of having squares with vbl lines running diagonally through them and causing any token placed on them to disappear for a player. So I decided that I'd put the vbl lines outside the play area. Fair enough. But then I ran out of border space between playable areas. So just for Ss and Gs I shrank the grid dpi from 500 to 5, and drew the vbl lines using snap to grid. It worked pretty darn well, and then when I finished I returned the grid dpi back to 50.
