PLEASE don't post images of your entire desktop, attach entire campaign files when only a single file is needed, or generally act in some other anti-social behavior.
I just noticed in 1.2 b0, that if you use the filesystem export after using the FTP export, the FTP information is wiped out. Likewise, the info entered into the Filesystem text box is wiped if you re-enter FTP info.
That's correct, the idea is that it only keeps track of the last place you exported to, so when you do an "Export ..." instead of "Export As ..." it's not ambiguous where to send the image (local or remote).
I'm happy to work through a better solution though.
Actually what I'd prefer, as far as the FTP info goes, is the ability to enter FTP "profiles", so I can select a profile from a drop-down and have the FTP info for different campaigns I might be running populated. Instead of having to manually re-enter it each time I create a new map in MT. That way if it gets wiped because I did a filesystem export it's a simple matter of selecting the FTP profile to get it all back easily.
The profiles could be stored as plain text with beginning and ending delimiters and keywords for each of the pertinent items. Obviously this would need to be maintained between updates, so if I unzip a new version my profiles don't get overwritten. So MT would need to create the profile file if it doesn't already exist.
If you mean the exported filename, actually I do. For the forum game, the encounter map name is always the same, I just overwrite it. If I want it to be different I'll change it. Don't know if it will always be the case for everyone, but I would rather the path and filename be maintained so I don't have to remember where I put it and what I called it
Right, what I meant was the filename wouldn't be contained in the ftp profile, which sounds like it is cross-campaign available. However the filename would still be associated with that ftp profile for that campaign.
That is, saving a campaign would keep the filename, but transfering the ftp details to a new campaign would bring everything except the filename
