This thread is intended to be a go to page to let the community know what you're working on and other various contributions you have given to the community. This is different from the Developers Thread in the sense that that thread is for Java Development and this thread is for Maptool Macro and Lib Development.
I intend to use this thread to link to from my signature so others can easily access my projects completed and see what I'm currently working on. I will also include links to other peoples work that I've donated some code to or that I simply find very useful.
Feel free to jump on the band wagon and do your own post, but this isn't a discussion page. If you have a question about an authors project, please do so under the appropriate thread, private message author or create a new thread.

Re: Maptool Contributors (works-in-progress, guidelines, etc
My unsorted lists of projects, contributions and things that I like.
Current Project - Redoing the Spell Lib. Mostly done, but I hit a snag writing too many properties to it. I'll have to rethink the data structure. The get speed is great, but the write speed... not so much. After running a MT function for 2 hours, I decided I should quit out of the process and rethink my strategy... Assuming 10+ seconds at 600 plus spells for write speed, 2 hours went over the limit of what I'm willing to work with.
As a separate resource but related I'm working on a table creator with getters and setters and other functions needed for easy access.
edit: 10/6/10 - Yep, still need to link my stuff above and add some more creations. After several reworks on spell lib it's finally coming together. I have high hopes to be done by this weekend.

Re: Maptool Contributors (works-in-progress, guidelines, etc
hmm its seems I'm the first to jump on the bandwagon. It's not ALL my stuff these also contain links to stuff I find very usefull and refer to regularly:
Stuff in my sig:
Stuff in my sig:
- Excel Tools: Table editor and Illumination Generator
- Framework: Dark Heresy
- onMouseOverEvent
- Fully auto-create macros on new tokens (trick)[/size]
- Auto Teleport Pads
- Light source editor
- TABLES, everything you always wanted to do with them
- formatToolTip (Created by Biodude, edited by me)
- token Move function Based on the latest MT function: onTokenMove Developed by jfrazierjr, I've created:
- an example campaign that show how to make use of this function (like Teleports, interTeleport, Traps, warded areas). And
- Fully automated copy paste Teleport pads. Teleport pads which you only need to copy paste in your map for them to work. Very handy if you have e.g. a map of a building with different floors. The stairs can then be set as teleport pads, so that as soon as a player steps on them they are on another floor. I've used this in my last game and it works like a charm.
- Token Move Speed Benchmark Test
- Macro Panel FRAME. Very fast substitute of the MT Token-Selection-Panel (Especially if you combine it with the caching trick here below). Which is my solution to the move speed benchmark issue.
- Making cached structures dynamic (Load BIG forms FAST)
- Batch Edit Macro Properties [1.3b56+] Macro to edit multiple macro properties at once by Biodude.
- Copy Tokens with random pattern and Rotation by Craig.[1.3b75+] Macro build a map with e.g. trees spread randomly over it. I've updated it cause it wasn't working anymore in b75.
- Speed Up Your Macros An advanced article giving tips on how to tweak your code to speed things up.
- List of Shortcut Keys
- Token states [AidyBaby] Tutorial Tutorial on creating you own token states in PS by AidyBaby.
- Understanding JSON objects and arrays in MT macros. Tutorial on JSON Objects by Craig.
- Building a Framework (Step by Step) A tutorial/blog on creating a Framework, very helpfull if you want to 'dive' into it. By JonathanTheBlack
- Setting Up eclipse to test new versions of MT
- n00b discussion on JSON objects

Re: Maptool Contributors (works-in-progress, guidelines, etc
Dunno if this is the corret place to post it but anyway... I have created a sort of rough framework for Starwars D6... (with the Darkstryider campaign). How can I share that campaign and relative framework?
Cheers

You'll want to put it under User Creations.khorne wrote:Dunno if this is the corret place to post it but anyway... I have created a sort of rough framework for Starwars D6... (with the Darkstryider campaign). How can I share that campaign and relative framework?
