texture chooser bug when adding textures to palette

I came across a problem in the choose paint/texture dialog this evening (b18).
If you add textures before you've opened the choose paint/texture dialog, then open it, it doesn't appear normal....until you close it then open it again.
If you open it first, then add textures, then re-open, it show up fine.
If you add like 10 textures before opening it the first time, the dialog goes crazy and is taller than the screen and the ok/cancel buttons don't even get painted.
Also, the scrollbar fails to show up sometimes if there are a lot of textures.
This isn't really a problem in the current build, but when the textures are saved, it happens every time you re-start maptools and open the paint/texture chooser for the first time (if you have a few textures saved).
