Hey hey, so I am having some problems configuring Maptools to open the framework for D&D3.5/Pathfinder, downloaded the mt1.3.91.08.01_dnd35_pathfinder.cmpgn and mt1.3.91.08.01_dnd35_pathfinder.mfwk and Maptools spits back an error about this being made with a previous version? and that nothing has been loaded. I assume (possibly incorrectly)
that this populates the program with all of the pathfinder info or gives a base campaign set up that you tweak yourself.
Yes if this was answered elsewhere excuse the double post but I prefer a fresh post
Any help either via reply or over Discord chat would be amazing, I'd appreciate it
Thanks in advance!

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
Download 1.4.0.5 and it should load. It's a stable release and fixes some bugs + adds some features.

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
Appreciate the reply and although that fixed the failure to load issue, when I open the campaign file, it is version 1.3.9, would you happen to know
where I can find the 3.5/Pathfinder Campaign file that is 1.4.0 ?

It shouldn't matter. The campaign version numbering is more of a way for him to track his versions of all the various macros and such.

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
Well it generates the following block of errors and states the version was made with an older version of Maptools, doesn't load it.
Seems this is an issue for the devs of this program, not that your help isn't appreciated.

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
Well that is odd and unexpected! I haven't seen that one before.
We make every effort that every version of MapTool's can read older campaign files (for obvious reasons). It's only an issue reading a newer saved file in an older version of MT. If fact there's code still to handle things saved back to 1.3b33-ish

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
Also campaigns ending in .mfwk and that's NOT a MapTool file... It should end in .cmpgn, do you have both and both spit an error?

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
So from your reply, this error has no remedy??
Yes to your question, the framework file freezes the program when "adding resource to library" and errors if
opened as a Campaign.

Re: Adding D&D3.5/Pathfinder Framework to Map Tools
mfwk is a Mote campaign file. So don't use that with MapTool!
I had erroneously edited the campaign file with MapTool 1.4.1.7 so that mucked up the version, but I thought I had fixed that and returned it to b91 versioning. I will revisit that and make certain I corrected it correctly!
Yeah the version that is up is a b91 compatible version now. So maybe you got the download from when it was erroneously a higher version, but re-download now for a working version.
