No internet gateway devices found?

I am using 1.4.0 and when I try to start a server using UPnP I get the error "No internet gateway devices found", and I am not sure exactly what I am supposed to do about it. When someone tries to connect it fails saying that it can;t load the campaign. I am using a motorola surfboard router and window 7. What is my next step?

Log in to your router and look for something that enables/disables UPnP. Make sure it's on. Another option is to set up port forwarding to your computer on the router. You need to make your ip static/fixed for that to reliably work. You can do a google search on how to do using your router model since many of the routers nowadays use different menus and language to do the same thing.
