Can a Macro create a new token and place it on the map?

Post by shindu »

Hey Folks, new to the forums, been digging into map-tools macros on behalf of my DM, Its been great fun. I am creating a macro for a create creature spell, This spell has many options but the result is a creature who follows your commands for a period of time before... i don't know dissolving into the earth from whence it came?

I would like for the macro button to result in a token being created with an image chosen before hand that has the various stats that can be chosen along with some default ones. The token would have it's own attack macro if that is possible.

All that to say, am i getting far too ambitious?

Thanks for your input!

In my Patherfinder/D&D3.5 Framework, I have a reasonably full set of summon-able creatures. To see it in action, load the campaign file, use the Summon macro from the Campaign macro frame, and go from there...

and yeah it is non-trivial.
