I think it would be great to put a sticky with a user's guide to setting up a maptool session.

I think it just misses a "how to put files in a players'directory to speed up download times" and it would be about perfect.
I thought about this because, for most of the softwares I used, I missed this kind of "rough guide" that sums up what yoy have to do step by step and all the options that have to be marked on or off (the ones 90% of the users use... you can skip the "how to use hexes" part )

Good call. It's something that I've wanted to do for a while. Maybe I can get with Dorpond and work one of his campaigns into a demo campaign.
Another thing I've really wanted to do was create Screen Cast tutorials of the various featuers. That way new users can watch MT in action to see what it can do. I've been waiting for the features to stabilize before doing that though. Perhaps once 1.1 hits Release Candidate status I'll take a stab at this.
