Memory Filling up?

Post by Styles2304 »

I have 7 maps on this campaign I'm about to run. It's the town where they'll be starting most of their other compaigns from. Starting on the main map, which is the entire town's exterior, I can load each map and return. However, once I've loaded the last map and try to return to the exterior, maptool freezes on the loading screen. It doesn't really freeze . . . but it never loads. It doesn't matter which map I load last, when returning to the main exterior, it does this. Any ideas?I'd like to get this figured out since I'm hosting a game tomorrow.

email me your campaign file, I'll take a look.

As an alternate, you might create two campaigns, and split the various maps.

How are you starting MT? With how much memory?

What is the reading on the Memory Usage readout down in the corner?

If you ran it from the batch file in the zip download are there any messages in the command window?

I didn't get the file, try sending it to [email protected]

You might also follow Phergus's recommendation to increase memory, if you haven't already.

Ok, I found my problem. I wasn't running maptool from the .bat. I have it shortcutted on my start menu but to the .jar file instead so everything works fine now. Thanks for the help!
