before reading this one. It details a few minor requests for tokens.
If values can be associated with tokens, a token manager window would be cool as it could server as a combat manager as well. All values and states that change via the popup menu should have the ability to be changed through manager window as well.
One design would be to display the token information (one to a row) with an itty, bitty thumbnail, the name, the states, and the values for each token. Also the manager should allow you to edit all of the above. The states and values should be sortable. Whether a token is in fog should be one of the states. Only those tokens you own or that are owned by everyone should be in your token manager window.
The user should be able to order or hide columns to suit the desires/needs of the player/DM.
The scenario would be something like this:
DM creates custom values for tokens representing AC, HP, Init, Init Order, melee bonus to hit, melee damage, reach, ranged bonus to hit, ranged damage, (other combat stuff based on number of attacks), AC Mod (based on cover or other factors), etc. These values and the states of the token are displayed, one row per token.
These values, along with the states are editable from the token management window. If a player changed these values on his screen, the DM should have the right to approve (or at least be notified the change was made).
Note, position is an alternate value that might be editable by the DM.

Token Manager Window
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the RPTrolls are readying another attack of proposed functionality on the developers.
The token manager window could get pretty big so I'm not sure it will fit. Having said that the window is resizeable and so you could display any number of columns by sacraficing map real estate.
You might also allow the window to be detached if needed.
Other windows, like character sheet, placeables, etc could go there as well. In the case of character sheets you could allow those to be dropped onto icons to auto fill token values.
