I'm not really sure where to post this so I defaulted to the main maptool forum.
While I would love to have some sort of data management system built into maptool via H2 or Derby or <insert favorite small footprint java database here>, the coming javascript would allow for other, even lighter DBs to be integrated on a campaign by campaign basis. A great deal of coding goodness would be introduced by the ability to include a javascript database like Taffy. http://taffydb.com/index.cfm The main issue is the data isn't persistent. It would need to be loaded on each server start.
Would something like this be possible given the current path of javascript integration?
