Risus is a free rule-lite system featuring cliches. Anyone interested in the rules can find them here or you can download the pdf directly from here

Character Sheet for Risus is minimal representing the minimal game mechanics. You take wounds by clicking on the stars next to the cliche. You heal wounds in the same way by clicking on the hollow stars that appear once a cliche is wounded.

The Edit Cliches link brings up this window. Note there is always an empty cliche for adding. You delete a cliche by deleting all the text in the cliche box.

And lastly, here's the incredibly complex campaign file.

Enjoy!

Um, I assume this is a joke. Is there any reason I shouldn't just delete the thread??

Why would it be ?
It seems like a fun parodic RPG (or have I misinterpreted things there ?).

I think he was being sarcastic, it being Risus and all.

Course, if he isn't he probably does not realize that Risus is the most played free RPG out there these days. It has been around for almost 15 years and has a huge following.

What? Sarcasm out of a guy with that Avatar. You've got to be kidding.

When trying to figure out the best way to annotate tokens with Risus cliches I was left with creating a campaign property for each token or storing them all in one JSON object. Since most people don't know how to edit JSON objects the framework needed a character sheet and macros to handle that. Granted, just putting some individual token macros together would have worked but that would have involved people actually doing something to get ready for a game. Than runs contrary to the Risus play style. 8)

Overkill, probably. But it didn't take long to create and I figured someone else might find it useful.

And soon I'll be adding Snikle's cool dice images in place of the stars.

Hey Natha, do the stars show up when you have the language set to French? I'm a little concerned that my HTML stars may not be portable.

No, I'm truly clueless about Risus.

I now have a clue that there really is such a game system, so yeah, I'll move the thread. ;)

Thanks, Az.

Oh my, there seems to be a signature theme developing.

Do you plan on implementing support for Funky Dice at some point?

I was just thinking about that and I believe the answer is yes. it would be simple to add a flag to provide a dropdown on cliche edit panel to add other die types. I'll try to get that in soon.

What about Pumping your Cliche?

I second that on Funky Dice, if we ever play a Risus Supers game, we will need them.

LOL You fixed your message, sneaky devil you!

I made a icon for Pumping you cliche and sent it on. Anything else that should be added?
Troll, I wouldn't mind a text box to enter notes or the character's background.
