Can not open Tokentool

Post by antiduke »

I would love to use tokentool but I simply cannot get it to open, or any of the rptools for that matter. I have tried to run it from the Java web start link and it gets about 1/4 of the way through the download and then gives me an Application Error "Unable to launch the application."

When I try to download the .zip file (1.0.b27) I always get an error when unzipping. I can open the tinylaf.jar but the others give me an error as shown below.

! D:\Desktop\tokentool-1.0.b27.zip: CRC failed in tokentool-1.0.b27.jar. The file is corrupt

Here are the details of the error when trying to open with java.. I'm not sure what information is important so I'm just going to post it all.

Someone else was having this same problem lately and when he downloaded the zip files onto another PC and then brought them over to his (via a USB drive) he was able to extract them and they worked just fine after that.

He was running under Vista and tried several different archiver programs and different downloads.

Note he also saw the failures when trying to use webstart.
