Text Overlay

Post by KataH »

Not sure if this was every suggested or not, but it would be nice to be able to add just a single line of Text to the TokenTool image.
This way you could use the same image but have text, like at the bottom of the image, such as Standing, Sitting, Kneeling, Crawling, Prone, etc.
A nice clean font like Arial or such plus a way to size it as well (because if it gets to small it will be unreadable).
This would be handy running a GURPS game in Roll20 where posture really matter.

Just an idea.

I like it. So, for "states" allow text?

At least "states" makes sense to me. Image should then be optional if text is present? Although, what do we do with overflow? clip it? So you are responsible to make sure it's positioned and right size to be read?

I say clip the text to prevent overflow, that would be a simple way to handle it.
