A quick token question!

Post by Square Woot »

Hey there!

I just have a really simple question, but I couldn't find an answer to it anywhere.

Say I have my own tokens I've downloaded and saved to my hard drive, and they're all ready to go. I start a game using the MapTool. Will people see the tokens I place, even if they don't have them on their hard drive? Or does everyone involved in that play session need to have the same tokens downloaded?

If they don't have those tokens downloaded, will they still be able to move those pieces?

They'll be able to see them. Sometimes there is a delay, if the connection is slow, but they don't need to download the same tokens. MT does it for you. Yes, it's that cool.

Yay, very awesome! I was afraid of having to send my party members the graphics and having them put them into a folder. So hard to surprise someone with a new monster like that.
