Fudge Dice in DiceTool

Post by Clemmensen »

I think it would be great if the DiceTool included a Fudge Dice Roller. Is this possible? :)

should probably be asked over in the DiceTool forum, as it's not a new application.

Well, the MapTool dice parser already support Fudge dice (dF), but apparently, not Dice Tool. I'm not a Java programmer, but if they share similar libraries, it must not be that hard to share the same dice-rolling capabilities. Is anyone still actively developing or maintaining DiceTool?

You can use 4d3-8. It will produce mathematically identical results, both in range and probability.

But some functions require information about whether each die has a -1, 0, or +1. Otherwise, you're correct.
