Pathfinder Templates and Summoned Monsters

Post by neofax »

Imper1um wrote:Yeah, but amazing macro.

Coupled with http://www.d20pfsrd.com , the Statblock2Token macro, and this macro, (also modifying the macro for Celestial Template) I was able to make the entire list of 1st and 2nd Level Tokens for Summon Nature's Ally and Summon Monster in about 8 hours of work. I have a few 3rd levels, but the reasoning behind this is people were talking about summoning stuff, so I made these tokens.

http://www.4shared.com/file/215807542/9 ... inder.html

It works with the latest framework (in fact, all I did was cheat and use the supplied campaign file and make a new map. XD).

Now, If I could only update the macro to update the weapons, and make macros for every type of Template, that would be awesome.

I've included them here, but I've also have a macroset which players can use. It's a little more 'user friendly' in how they are placed.

Those are really nice.

I've gone ahead an filled out through 4th level of the tokens and uploaded them here.

BTW, these all all augmented summoning, not normal summoning of the druid's allies.

I will work on the remaining levels.

You may want to check out the work that this guy has done; they're not tokens, but rather statblocks to represent regular and augmented summonable creatures.

That is actually the stat blocks I used, though I hadn't realized he had updated them.

BTW, I did not make these Imper1um did. He should get all the credit. I just was bored over the Memorial Day weekend and instead of continually pulling my hair out trying to fix the Spell Manager, I read thru the 90+ pages of Lindsay's FW and posted the ones I thought needed to be unburied.

With the ability to have a mod "Augmented" that gives anything that has the mod aplied the Augment Summoned bonuses, wouldn't it be cleaner to use that?

Amazing work btw, I have to do the same for all the normal summon mobs as I have a summoner in my group.

Cheers,
Jash

FYI IMarvin's site should now have all of the Bestiary uploaded to it and in working order. Probably need to start working on making macros to add templates to the tokens. i.e. Young, Fiendish, Celestial, Advanced...

Thanks for this, these are great! I am about to start playing a Summoner so you are making my life easier! One comment, in PF do summoned critters all come with average hitpoints, or do they come in with random HP? If random, the you may want to make your base tokens have just the die entries in the MaxHP fields... I will see about making that easier to do and to have a macro to roll the hp of a new token...

Average hitpoints per the Bestiary statblock, Bonus HP for augmented summoning, per the feat.
