The difference between Mods and Items

Post by aliasmask »

Mods and Items are pretty much the same thing except a Mod is saved globally (lib token) and an item is saved locally (PC token). I was thinking it would be nice to be able to save a mod as an item to a token, for portability, and maybe an item as a mod. That way, if a token comes from another campaign with a custom mod, it can be saved to token and then saved to new campaign from the token without having to recreate it.

I took a quick look at the different formats and it's mostly the same, give or take a couple of variables. I'll experiment with a macro "Convert Active Mods to Items" and see if I can quickly come up with a solution.
