Brexor/MD's DC Universe (M&M 3rd) campaign framework

Hey gang, MD and myself have put together a functioning campaign framework we built to play the DC rpg. We use Skype to converse and use maptool for rolls/combat. We tried to make the "Character Sheet" the axis for all in-game rolls.

MD (the GM) plays a pretty loose and trusting campaign and it will be reflected in the framework. Check it out.

UPDATE!!!
Due to the complexity (probably needless) of the framework, we had to load maptool with an 8mb stacksize. Launch from the web, and edit in the CUSTOMIZATION field.

Nice! Super pumped about this. I'll have to try it out this weekend.

Any chance of a short guide or walkthrough? I'm new to GMing on Maptool and I've never GM'd or played Mutants and Masterminds / DCA before. I'd really like to use your tool.

I'm familiar with being a maptool client - we've played a lot of 4e D&D using a really nice framework and SW Saga using a really nice framework.

Yeah, I could put together a "user's manual". I have some updates coming down the pipe, so I will put a guide along with it. Thanks for the interest.

That would be great. My brother and I have tried out the system, and it seems intuitive. Just trying to figure everything out and a guide would help out a lot. Thanks!

Updates:
coming down the pipe...
Initiative tool - tracks combat order
NPC token randomizer - a snappy tool for creating generic NPC tokens and randomizing their stats(within PL and balanced)
General fixes and streamlining...

Muggins, a guide is on the way (hopefully in a couple days). It will be in two parts, the first a PC section that tells players what they need. It has the basics. Then a GM section, which shows how to use the GM-only tools and how to start combat, configure NPC tokens, etc. Hopefully that ought to work for you guys.

I'm excited that folks out there are going to use our little tool, thanks!

Awesome awesome awesome. I plan on running a quick session Sunday night, a bank robbery or something, so players can learn the DCA system and test characters. I will try to use your system and see how it goes. I think I know enough about it to get it to work.

I'm super excited. My players aren't really crunchy ponytail types so they just want something easy to use. I can't wait.

I haven't had the chance to finish everything I had put on my wish list but I did complete some. Also, I have a draft of a Players Guide so that the non-GM types can get a primer on how it works for them...

I hope to get more done in the future...stay tuned.

We played last night for the first time using this framework. It worked great, only ran into two bugs (I couldn't take a screenshot of them... was too flustered as I'm a first-time GM). If I run into them next time I'll let you know what they are.

We had a robot (blast ray and super punch), brick type guy (super tough, strong, leaping, groundpunch), water manipulator, telepath (he is a mime who can mime things and they happen). They fought a bunch of gang members who were influenced by Gorilla Grodd, then fought Grodd who had mind-controlled Solomon Grundy. Once they defeated Grodd, Grundy ran away into the sewers.

I helped make all their characters based on what they told me they wanted, and I think I gave everyone too much impervious toughness. The Mime can mime a shield, the water guy has an aura, the robot and the brick have impervious toughness from being naturally tough. I'll have to make some changes.

The framework itself worked great; I might pick your brain at some point here as to how to make powers in it.
