[Rumble 5] FREQ: Condition Aftereffects and On Failed Saves

[Rumble 5] FREQ: Condition Aftereffects and On Failed Saves

Hi Rumble,

Can you add the ability to have secondary and tertiary conditions/effects that dovetail upon initial ones? For example, allow for powers like the medusa's Petrifying Gaze;
  • Hit: the target is slowed (save ends).
    First Failed Save: The target is immobilized instead of slowed (save ends).
    Second Failed Save: The target is petrified (no save).
There are lots of powers that cause secondary, tertiary and maybe even quaternary conditions/effects with successive failed saves.

I imagine this is a big request. Just wondering what your apatite is for it?

Actually, the Essentials Wizard powers now have an Aftereffect feature as well. So once the condition ends, this effect kicks in.

Unfortunately, this is simply too big a change to take on - it would require redesigning the condition management subsystem one end to another, and I don't have the appetite for that.
