It has been a bit slow lately.

If you like I could post some more troll poetry.

Troll poetry: always welcome.

Yeah, I was sick Thursday and Friday (yucky) so didn't get much done. But I did get some coding in last night. When dropping in a new token, it makes a pretty good guess at what type of token type it is (circle, square, top down), and sets up the facing arrow appropriately.

I've got the circle arrow working (it's pretty cool, it looks like it follows around the ring), and the start of the square. I should be able to get the square and top down (token rotation) done tonight.

After that I'll work on getting the hex cells better shaped. Then look at creating "status" indicators (for things like health).

Let's plan for a Tuesday build.

You know, while I'm at it I think I'll drop in arbitrary sized tokens, freesized tokens.

It's a necessary iterative step towards layers, and it'll be fairly easy, so might as well get it in now :)

Free scaling tokes will be cool.

Added a Token Properties dialog, it currently has Name and Type (Square, Circle, Top Down), but I plan to start filling it up with all the little doo-dads that you can set on a token.

There's a weird little glitch with drawing the selection border around the rotated token, the first time it draws it is offset incorrectly. Weird. I'll track it down. I might leave it in if I don't find it by Tuesday so you guys can at least see the progress and provide comments.

K, fixed the glitch (and learned more about Java2D AffineTransformations at the same time, neat!).

Working on free sizing.

I suppose working on these kinds of projects makes learning things fun, and has practical applications... one of the cooler aspects for you guys :)
