CoveredIn Too Much Fish?
Hi all,
I guess it was pretty silent about me in the last months ... and I cannot promise it will be much more lively with me soon.
But I can tell you whats happening - I spent a lot of time here, love(d) the company and don't want to burn bridges ... (special sorry's to Wolph42 whom I promised several participations for projects I couldnt keep up with - private life and work doesnt play as I like or expected ... )
So ... I'm very happy to see that there is some new energy here, Mote and 1.4 seem to bring some sparks into here, great. I wish MT to live on, its a great tool - still the best I think, regardless what Roll20 achieves on new features.
I - personally - just dont have much need in VTT software sadly. On one hand the people I'd like to game with - but that arent living close enough to play F2F - simply don't get used to virtual gaming, on second hand I have a focus on game that dont need much support from cool VTT software since I play indy games with mostly conversations and some dice rolling, but not much map related stuff or complicated dice rolling. And on the third hand - wait? what? you dont have three hands?? I redirect probably 70% of my hobby time from RPG to tabletop wargaming when I started to play Infinity. Another reason to step back from MT - well... It wouldnt be but I actually succeeded in finding a local playing group with having 1-2 weekly games which is all I can hope for being bound in work as I am.
So ...
I really love to think back to the intense time I spent here. I even hope that need comes back and I'll become more active around here - because MT is without question the VTT I would go for.
Keep up the good work and do cool stuff for MT!
I'm not gone...
Cheers guys

Re: CoveredIn To Much Fish?
Wait, if you are a fish, how do you have ANY hands?
And I for one greatly understand. When I got into Vor, a miniature game, it was all about painting, terrain, etc. Board games, no VTT. Pathfinder, hell's ya we need VTT. So for now they have my attention!
And you never know when that next awesome game will come around and you'll be back because you need a VTT again and we're awesome and you love us!
But for now, so long, and thanks for the fish!

I'll keep visiting from time to time at least.
Re: CoveredIn To Much Fish?
Yup, you've been missed and certainly not forgotten. And I know the feeling. I'm by far not Si active with mt as I used to be (though still am on the forum, not with the scripting). Anyway thanks for the heads up. I haven't seen that much. I'll guess we'll see you lurking around then from time to time
edit: btw your subject should be 'too' not 'to'.
