I never played any virtual tabletop games, i never played d&d also but i very want to, i dont have friends who want to play d&d so im think about virtual tabletop game, im using gnu/linux-libre system, so im choose RPTools cuz its free-software program, but what else i need ? I need a camera/microphone or i can play without it ? What next steps i need to do to play with some team

I would recommend looking/posting in the "Looking For A Group" section.

You will also need Skype or similar, since MapTool does not handle voice communication only chat. But any groups you join will specify what they use.
