First off, usage questions are never stupid

Here's my question, is there a way to set up individual views for my players while still having a general view on the big screen? One of my players was specifically wondering because he's a half-elf and his night vision is better than everyone else. If I give his character the better vision range on the GM computer so he can see it, can I make the general map on the big screen more general and not expose what the half-elf can see? Additionally, is there a way to do that with FOW where individuals have different FOW's? I hope I don't sound like an idiot with this question but I haven't used this in an online session, only for tabletop gaming.
There's two parts to the answer. You can have as many people connected to the server as you like, and each connected MT has its own view (zoomed in, out, different map, whatever). It would probably make them giggle with glee moving the token on the laptop and see it reflected on the big screen.
The second part is the individual fow. That is not supported atm. Eventually when we get the vision integrated with the fow, we'd like to make it so that each connection can only "see" what their owned tokens can see. So if the party splits up you can only see what your tokens see, and not the other party members. That's still a bit out, but planned.
Does that answer your question ?
