The oil of barkskin is the only item on that list that Tars can use... really makes more sense imo as a druid will be getting the spell for free at lvl 3, plus Tars is the primary meleer.

I would've thought the wooden magical shield is a no brainer for a druid.


As for supplies from the temple, I recommend we buy a wand of cure light wounds that one of you guys keeps on them. Wands do not draw AOOs when they're used in combat, making them better than scrolls or potions. A wand is also very cheap in the long run compared to potions or scrolls; potions of clw 50gp x 50 is 2500gp, a wand with 50 charges is 750 before markup.

Other than that, Wand of Shield of faith would be another nice item; +2 deflection ac.

The first town is rather large, with many outlaying, healthy farms. It is filled with the hustle and bustle of city life. The second and third are each smaller then the last, but nothing seems to be going on with them.

The air hangs oppressively like its thick with lead, no birds are singing, no rabbits bounding. Total silence fills the trees to the north, and nothing seems to be moving on the plains to the south. As you approach the town, it too seems silent. you can see people moving around, but they seem devoid of life, as if something horrible has happened.

And as for the pressence, the birds and beasts were abundant yesterday, so do you think the gnolls brought evil to this land

I think that perhaps the gnolls are part of the evil, but most likely not the cause.

Well, you said you shall investigate? in that case rest here as long as you like. The gnolls seem to have taken all they need for now, I doubt an attack will happen for at least another week. I just hope for a swift death for those that they took. Who knows what they do to their prisoners....

Well there is no other entrance that I can see besides the one that faces the road. I saw a few gnolls guarding the entrance, but they don't go around the whole tower, just the part facing the road

Are we using experience penalties for multiclassing classes that are not favored classes? Personally not one of my favorite core rules, as it makes humans so much more powerful potentially and half elves more powerful than elves with many builds; it's especially odd when half elves make better Bladesingers, Arcane Archers, or Eternal Blades (three specificly elven PrCs) than elves do. >.>

My rule on that is a bit different.
1.Favored class for every race is any.
2.PrC's do not count, i treat them as favored classes.

the reason I do this is because I find it promotes prc's and not just triple classing base classes
