MT 1.3b7 Progress

Post by trevor »

I spent my development time this past week researching the new file format and some other technologies. I'm also about half way through gridless waypoints.

But overall, no significant coding this week, so no build tonight. Perhaps later in the week if I get some good stuff done.

Non snap to grid waypoints, working. No other development this week. Harry Potter. 'Nuff said. I'll be back in a day or so.

Heh, the other day snikle said he read the last few pages of the book, I told him if he said anything more that I'd immediately delete MapTool :)

I guess he's safe from that threat now, heh, whew !

No. Not kill you. That would be far to quick and merciful.

If you've never read the book, I can see how you may not quite get everything... though some movie-only friends of mine loved it. I loved it as well...

d20 Harry Potter anyone?

I've actually enjoyed all of the movies. Each has exceeded my expectations (but that's partially because I started with very low expectations and I haven't read any of the books to compare them to. ;))

They may not be Lord of the Rings, but then again, they aren't trying to be.

One day, I will actually read all of the books, if only because it is such a socially important popular work of fiction. The fact that Rowling is the world's wealthiest popular author has to mean something... or, at least, I'm going to trying to make it mean something. ;)

Hi!

My son and me thought the same thing. We were underwhelmed.
