MapTool build 7 notes
Gonna start cranking on build 7 this weekend, here are the items I'm planning on working on for this release:
- Export screen shot
- Colored token bases
- Hex snap to grid
- Hex shape adjustments
That'll probably take me into mid next week. Make a new release at that point.
Looking forward to build 8, I'll probably start on the layers.
Feel free to discuss your thoughts.

Sounds Great!
I am glad for the bases - this will fit right into my upcoming GMing takeover.
I am really excited that you will be doing Layers in 8, that will open us to many options like removing FoW that isn't being blocked.
Question: Does Right Click, Remove Fog in Light, have a place in this upgrade anywhere?

Oh yes, I do! That will complete all that I *need* to use this tool when I DM in a few weeks.trevor wrote:It's somewhere in there, but if you like I could move it soonerdorpond wrote: Question: Does Right Click, Remove Fog in Light, have a place in this upgrade anywhere?
That would be sweet - thanks if you can!

UPDATE
Ok I've written the screencap code. You can choose to snap the entire application (sans windows decorations) for tool discussions, or snap just the active map (sans overlays such as zone selector) for gaming purposes.
Got the shortcut keys set up and menus installed. Now just need to whip up the Save To location dialog.
