Init Tool Build 1

Post by jay »

I've started working on some of the trackers for init tool:
  • Added simple manual initiative entry for items
  • Double clicking item now brings up editor dialog
  • Fixed bug where the timer flag was not being turned off
These should be in the next build.

I think I'm going to work on custom values next.

Just finished adding support for custom values. You can set them on the items in the encounter and the creatures in a group.

I've also added the ability to set the die roll used and method for tie resolution when rolling automatically for init during the start of an encounter.

Rock on. Now if you can make it read these values from a file or allow or some sort of rapid editing of these values we'll be rockin' big time.

You can add them to creatures in a group, and you can save the group. Currently, editing goes through the dialog, but I may be able to add a way to double click and edit them wihtin the table view of the encounter and the group creatures.

Being able to populate entities from a file would be a great time saver. It if populated them from the srd xml it would be even cooler. Then I could have my kobold xml, select load and have the values for hit points, ac, and init populated without having to fill in the screen every time.

You could do the same for characters and NPCs
